Bet you can't wait for all that pretty snow and ice to turn to picturesque slush! We have ice problems of our own - in this weather the stuff melts too fast in our ginandtonic.

It already has at the street corners. Since the temperature rose to a balmy
20 F (-7 C) today, I managed to get out. We had a foot of the stuff, but
the streets have been cleared and, at least around here, the sidewalks
shoveled.

Yes, we've heard about a temporary halt being called to the tennis matches
there. Have they now resumed?

Dodi: Yes tennis barely paused. This week has been like yours with temperatures in the balmy 20s.
