The oobit has nothing to do with eggs or computers. It is an alternate
spelling of woubit and, as Millie Morgan guessed, is a hairy
caterpillar and for some reason known only to Chambers Dictionary also
means shabby. Millie is also equal top - score =, but she is spared the
deal which goes to Johnny Barrs who gained a natural 5 with his matrix
ovary.
