The word for Round 2445 is:

********************
HIRSEL
********************

Capitalization is not significant.

Please send your invented definitions or DQs, as applicable, by private e-mail to emallach (AT) verizon (DOT) net. Note to new players: Do not click Reply! That will send your definition to all players, which will in turn require you to come up with another one.

The deadline for definitions is noon Eastern (U.S.) Daylight Time on Tuesday, October 1st, 26+ hours from now. I think that corresponds to the following times and dates, but please confirm your time conversion in case I got it wrong. I'll tabulate the submissions and send them out based on U.S. EDT.

Continental Europe: 6 pm, same day
U.K. Summer Time: 5 pm, same day
U.S. Central Daylight Time: 11 am, same day
U.S. Pacific Daylight Time: 9 am, same day
Australian Eastern Standard Time: 2 am, Wednesday, October 2

Now, send in those defs!!

(Once I send out the list of definitions, which shouldn't be too long after the deadline for submitting them, you'll have about 48 hours to vote because of my teaching and travel schedules.)
