View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2443 word: SHELTA

When Tim sent out his word for the last round, he commented that he hadn't dealt in 20 rounds so it's about time. My reply with the definition of the shoes with upturned toes mentioned that I hadn't dealt in nearly as long, so my turn must be coming soon. Maybe I shouldn't have said that!

In any case, the word for Round 2443, barring too many DQs, is:

********************
SHELTA
********************

The capitalization here is, as usual, not significant.

Please send your invented definitions or DQs, as applicable, by private e-mail to emallach (AT) verizon (DOT) net. Note to new players: Do not Reply to this message. That will send your definition to all the players, which will in turn require you to come up with another one.

The official, governing deadline for definitions is 9 am Eastern (U.S.) Daylight Time on Wednesday, September 25th. I think that corresponds to the following times on that date, but please confirm your time conversion in case I got it wrong. I'll tabulate the submissions and send them out based on U.S. EDT.

Australian Eastern Standard Time: 11 pm
Continental Europe: 3 pm
U.K. Summer Time: 2 pm
U.S. Central Daylight Time: 8 am
U.S. Pacific Daylight Time: 6 am

Let the festivities begin!

Efrem

Sorry - I got the date wrong. All deadlines are on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH. That's about 34 hours from when this first went out, 33 1/2 hours from now.
