View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 1645 new word: XLOKK

Guerri, thank you so much for reposting Mike's new-word message to the
Yahoo/Coryphaeus list!

[Would someone please do the same for the round 1644 rolling scores?
Perhaps Hugo, who was kind enough to do so for round 1642?]

>> Paul, has anyone investigated the non-delivery of messages to the
>> group from TAPCIS.COM? This has happened several times.

Yes, and it appears to be unpredictable and inconsistent. Mike's rolling
scores for round 1642 never made it across the bridge--but the following
post, for round 1643, did! Now, two other things from him never got here.

Hm. The most recent nonarrivals all seem to be from Mike. Is that
significant?

Even then, the post hits the moderation queue.

In this case, the entire thread (Mike's message and two replies to it) are
missing. I'm not sure why.

I didn't and probably can't investigate Mike's posting in tapcis.com. I
wonder if however he's set up there doesn't match the way he's set up in
the group. But if that were the problem, I would expect ALL his messages
to be lost. Unless he sometimes posts directly to the group.

My reply to Bill Hirst's message was directly in tapcis.com.

Hi Guerri,

Well, his progress report was NOT posted directly to the group, since I saw
it over an hour ago on the Tapcis web forum.

And it has now (about half an hour ago) arrived in my e-mail.

Best, Hugo

I too have now received the progress report in my Email.

So whatever is wrong, is probably not something that Mike does
differently with certain messages.

I do nothing different with my messages (other than used a monspace font in the rolling scores). It's not me!!! (always blame the computer).
