Dave removed the suspense from the voting by being the second submitter
and by cleverly guessing the true def, number 14, the Sanskrit poetry.
And as it turns out that in the end, he was the only one to hit the mark.
The winner of round 2407 and new dealer is Millie Morgan, whose definition
"A name applied in Eastern countries to any spirituous liquor of native
manufacture; especially, that distilled from the fermented sap of the
coco-palm" earned a natural 6 .
John Barrs takes coveted second place with 5 points. And there were 3
players in runner-up position with 4 points: Dave Cunningham, Keith Hale
and Mike Shefler.
The true definition was 14: "A style of Classical Sanskrit poetry
characterized by ornate and artificial language." (AHD 5th). One lucky
guess just pipped me for a D0.
So there you have it - take it away, Millie.
