So much for German root words. In retrospect, I probably should have
combined Mike's def with the real one but I thought the two defs were
different enough to leave them separate. 20/20 hindsight.

The winner of round 2401 and new dealer is Mike Shefler, whose definition
"The desire to wander afar; restlessness." received 7 votes, plus 2 points
for guessing the correct def.

Hugo Kornelis takes coveted second place with 6 points. Millie Morgan is
runner-up with 4 points.

The true definition was 8: "The migratory drive in animals, especially
birds." (AHD 5), which 7 perceptive players guessed.
