Kindly vote for two of the wrong defs hereof before 7 a.m.EST on Monday 11
Feb 2013

1. the Russian mafia.
2. Persian slipper or soft shoe.
3. The leader of a group or movement.
4. A pork sausage popular in Sicily.
5. [Ital] a sauce served on steamed shellfish.
6. A Polish sausage made with horse-meat.
7. In ancient mythology, the path to paradise.
8. expressing purpose; purposive; signifying intention.
9. a type of pasta in the form of small corrugated squares.
10. Traditional Polish dish based on cooked cabbage and mashed potatoes.
11. pizza with concentric alternating ridges, usually of pepperoni and
mozarella.
12. Russian boiled dumplings, usually filled with cabbage and potatoes or
turnips.
13. an atmospheric condition in which dense fog is combined with freezing
rain or snow.
14. A Romanian dish consisting of grape leaves stuffed with barley and
chopped chicken livers.
15. a stuffed toy, similar to a teddy bear, usually taking the form of a
wild boar, popular in Poland.
16. one of a series of ridges on snow-covered plains, caused by the
action of wind laden with ice particles.
17. the slender ventral filaments in some parasitic flatworms (esp.
trematodes) used for attachment to the host.
18. a religious belief of African origin involving witchcraft and
sorcery; practiced in parts of the West Indies and
