View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2377 - WAFF Results

Five canny players sniffed out that waff was related to waft, and hence waving
and breezes, and gave the dictionary a tie for second place, which spot it
shared with Chuck Emery and Steve Graham, making them the real winners. Jim
Hart takes the deal with 6 unnatural points for his utterly obfuscated sailing
definition. John Barrs naturally saw through everything from the start and was
DQ.

Take it away, Jim!

How is that on the rare occasions when I pick the right one I wish I hadn't
been so clever? Ah well, another round is now under way.
