Matthew

I'm sorry I wasn't able to vote - I've been out all day.

I just wanted to point out that the duplication of def 17, which you
corrected in your second posting of the defs for voting, crept back
again into the results posting. I hope I didn't rob Steve Dixon, the
author of 17, of too many votes!

I submitted:

> 18. a person with one great-grandparent of royal blood

The results showed:

> 18: a type of kaleidoscope with two sets of mirrors rotating in
> opposition *through a geared mechanism
> *Voted for by: Johnny Barrs, Dave Cunningham, Judy Madnick, Scott Crom
> FROM Tim Lodge who didn't vote, and scores 4 + 0 = 4

I never received your results report, Matthew, but I did get Judy's
response, and you appear to have based your report on the original defs
posting where #17 and #18 were identical (and one def was missing). They're
identical on your report, but credited to two different players.

Thanks for the query. I was unable to alter the definitions in the dealer software, but the right number of votes were properly credited to Mike Shefler and Tim Lodge, who did submit different definitions, which were printed in the "Corrected Time to Vote" posting (17: a type of kaleidoscope with two sets of mirrors rotating in opposition through a geared mechanism, and 18. a person with one great-grandparent of royal blood). -Matthew Grieco
