The word for round 2357 is: DUMKA

Send me your dastardly deceptive definitions, your fanciful fictional
forgeries, your illuminating ingenious inventions by email before the
firing of Wednesday's noon-day gun at the Greenwich meridian, aka 5-8am
in the lower 48 states of the new world, and 11pm daylight saving time
for Millie and anyone else near the 145 east longitude.

Confused? Read the rules, the history and gems from the archives at
www.dixonary.net or just jump in.

Just remember - no peeking at the dictionary, no embarrassing public
definitions.

Oops. That should have been 4-7am in lower 48 and (Ithink) other North
American places that are now on standard time. So from left to right it's
Wednesday at:
US west 4am, US east 7am, UK 12 noon, Netherlands 1pm, Melbourne 11pm.

And while I have your attention I can mention that even at this early stage
I have received six definitions (from Hale, Stevens, Mallach, Cunningham,
Carson and Graham) against one DQ so it looks like we will proceed.

Shame! I don't know how that happened; I remember copying the correct address.

Best wishes,
Tim Bourne.
