View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2348 BDELLOMETER Results

There were a lot of devices in the defs for BDELLOMETER. Our resident
Greek scholar, Johnny Barrs, recognised the root âäÝëëá - a leech -
in the true def, number 13 and was DQ. There was a three-way tie on 6
points for the next deal. However the OED can't deal and two of
Ephrem Mallach's points were gained because he (along with 5 other
players) guessed the real def. That leaves Steve Graham as the next
dealer, with a natural 6 points for his spirit detector.

Over to you for round 2349, Steve.

The last four lines in the results should read "No def" rather than
"No vote".

I'm sorry about that - blame it on a rather under-developed
spreadsheet! Here are the corrected results.

Tim, you list me at the end, correctly, as voting for #1 and #16, but you
then gave my votes to #3 and #5!

That's one too many for Dick and Tony, and Guerri and Steve G. were cheated.

My votes are still assigned to the wrong players . . .

Yes, I'm sorry about that. My spreadsheet got a bit muddled and the
names
of players who didn't submit a def but did vote were shown in the
wrong place
in the results. However, those players' votes were correctly
assigned
numerically, and the scores were correct. I hope this summary
clarifies things:

Def Vote 1 Vote 2 Tot Hit DP Score

Guerri Stevens 1 12 16 1 0 0 1
