The word for this round (2346) shall be

*** BATOLOGY ***

Email me (stamps@salsgiver.com) your fake definitions/DQs, etc no later than 6 PM EDT, Thurday, October 18.

Just to keep the record straight, this is Round 2347.

The round I just dealt, BOTTOMRY, was 2346.

Prior to that, Keith Hale's CLEPTOBIOSIS was 2345 and Judy Madnick's OBULARY was 2344.

Also, my list of previously used words says Millie Morgan used BATOLOGY in round 2138. That's long before I got involved in this, and perhaps long enough ago to re-use it, but I'll leave that to more experienced hands to say.

Rats, new word later today. Where can this list be obtained? Johnny
Barrs' site seems no longer available.

My copy is attached to this message for everyone. It's a plain text file so it should open on any computer one has.

I'm not sure how old it is, it's organized alphabetically so that's hard to find out, but any words too recent to be in it will probably ring a bell with at least a few players.

I think yours must be round 2347, since Efrem's was round 2346.

Hm. Whoever wrote it spelled Dixonary wrong ("dixionary"). I don't know how
old it is (I didn't do any random checking), but mine is up to date through
round 2339. I'll try to send around a .pdf version (dunno if I can).

Mine seems to be through Round 2301 (Judy M., JACONET), so Dodi's is newer.

Dodi: I can probably make it into a PDF if you run into problems.

Dixonary.net has up through round 2301.

I'll have to figure out a system for updating it.

is latest - give me about an hour (I am cooking supper) and it will be up
to date on dixonary.net

Thanks, John! Really appreciated.

In your next revision, you might want to remove the spaces from BOURRELET (round 2186). They're not a problem in the numeric list, but in the alpha list, they put it at the start of the Bs rather than where it ought to be. Someone might easily miss it when checking the alpha list to see if it's been used.

- thanks for spotting that -- some people post a word with intervening
spaces - I missed that one - corrected now and I have uploaded the files
again (leastways I hope I corrected it)
