Folks,
Somehow my previous message, which I created from scratch, also got stuck onto an earlier thread. I have created this one from scratch as well and have given it a sufficiently different subject line that even Google Groups should consider it different. To those who got the earlier ones, my apologies.
1. The new word is BOTTOMRY.
2. The deadline is noon on Monday, October 15, in eastern U.S. (daylight) time, and assorted other times in other places. That is just under 25 hours from now.
3. Definitions have been received so far from Barrs (besides his NAD to the group), Bourne, Cunningham, Grieco, Hale, Lodge, Stevens and Widdis.
