I should perhaps explain that the British politician referred to in that article is none other than John Prescott, the Deputy Prime Minister who, during the 2001 General Election campaign, punched an irate voter in the face. I think that's known as "making your mark in politics" :).

Google searches for "incompetent" produces yet another hit for Bush whilst one for "liar" turns up one for our Tony. Hmmm.

I was suspicious that it was a trick, so I tried it, and damn if that's not what came up!!

I love Google.

El Reg rarely gets its stories wrong. Although it's an IT industry "newspaper", it often includes stories where the IT angle is, at best, tenuous or completely absent, as this example (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/09/09/wheelbarrow_blagger/) from yesterday's editio (http://www.theregister.co.uk/)n demonstrates.
