Two definitions of RABATINE received six votes. One (#13, the
collar falling over the shoulders) was submitted by your rather
chastened dealer. The other (#18, a member of an obscure order of
monks) was submitted by Don Jordan, who accompanied his
definition with a note: "I'm submitting a def but will have to
pass on the deal if I should accidentally 'win'. I'm recovering
from Colon Cancer Surgery and going through chemo-therapy with
many doctor and hospital appointments so my time isn't my own
these days."

Don's win was no accident, but he clearly has more useful things
to do with his time these days, and I'm sure we all send him our
very best wishes.

Two definitions received 5 points each: Bill Hirst's bell-ringing
monks (#2) and Guerri Stevens' dark red clay (#3). Guerri is well
ahead of Bill in the current rolling scores, and is therefore our
next dealer. Congratulations, Guerri--you're up for Round 1643!
