OK, I gave 2 dealer points to everyone whose definition didn't make into the
list, even if the player simply sent it to the wrong email address (6 players
in all). I didn't add dealer points for Bill Bensburg, Frances Wetzstein,
Scott Crom or Chris Carson because they didn't claim their definitions went
missing. To be perfectly fair, their scores may need adjusting if they did
submit defs after all. Even so, the dealer points won't make any difference as
to who won the deal. Apparently Paul's definition more or less matched the
real one in meaning, and it was his wording that was used in the list.

So it looks like Steve Dixon with 9 unnatural points is the next dealer and
Judy Madnick and Paul Quinton tie is the real winners with 5 unnatural each.

Take it away, Steve!

1. The slurry left behind after gold is refined.
Voted for by Bill Bensburg
SOURCE: Keith Hale, who voted 5 and 10, and scores 1 + 0 = 1

precious metal by the unwary, e.g."fools’ gold".

each side.
Voted for by Dave Cunningham, Efrem Mallach, Dodi Schultz, Steve Graham
SOURCE: Guerri Stevens, who voted 7 and 10, and scores 4 + 0 = 4

Tony

confusing as it undoubtedly is (!?!)... if I understand correctly, Paul
Quinton and Gary Mason are the same person so Def #3 is merely a D5

And if */I/* understand correctly, "Paul Quinton" and "PaulQ" are
pseudonyms that Gary sometimes uses in some other venues.

Actually, as the one who dragged Gary into this wicked addiction (from
another word-oriented den of dependency), I feel sort of semi-responsible
for the confusion. :-(
