Lost Def from Dick Weltz - 2dp 10 20 2 +0 = 2
Crom 4 10

Making Mr. Barrs the next dealer with 6 points, and Mr. Hale the winnah
with 4.

Once I found this def I knew I had to use it - using a word just as obscure
as what is being defined was strange. A "gonfalon" is a pennant,
frequently used at the tip if a lance.

Ah, thank you Mr. Barrs! Glorious second! I think i must somehow
know a similar word, my bluff was not a million light years removed,
but i didn't vote for the right one. Great round, everyone!

People

slight delay in posting a new word -- I'll get to it in a couple or three
hours -- we have a rather special weekend - our eldest and wife from the
USA have gone to a wedding 2 day's drive away (yes there are those kind of
distances in this country - just!) and "grandma and grandpa" have been left
with a sprightly 4-year old and the 2-year old who has to be fed by a
tummy-tube. So with fear and trepidation we are working these things out as
well as looking after great-granny who has a chest infection.
Also of course it is a long weekend holiday becasue of the queeen's diamond
jubilee and everthying will be standing to attention and celebrating -
including probably the ISP's

Johnny - Good luck with it all. Can't be easy doing all that while standing
at attention. And saluting too I hope!

Saw a bit of the royal flotilla on tv, couldn't help marvelling that London
and Melbourne seemed to be sharing similar weather.
