Thanks, Judy.

I was thinking the ARC too, but I remembered the questions that had been
raised after 9/11, so I just thought I'd see if anyone knew, at this point,
of any reason why not.

The ARC didn't behave terribly well during 9/11, but the scope of its activities has to be given credit. OTOH, the Salvation Army has some policies I disagree with mightily (its anti-gay policies for example) yet the caring and compassion it extends to those in need are most creditable.

I guess nobody's perfect.

Yes, I had heard that the Salvation Army is more
efficient at getting supplies to where they are
needed.
